-Please join us this Sunday to celebrate Epiphany and the Three Wise Men at our Chilli Cook-off following worship..
-An Epiphany house blessing will be shared at the close of worship and will be followed by chilli and potluck in the Fellowship Hall.
-King's cakes and crowning of the Three Wise People will take place during the potluck.
-Bring muffin tins from home for an easy way to sample and compare all the chilli's
-Potluck - feel free to bring chilli, cornbread, salad, veggie tray, cookies . . . or whatever you wish.
Prizes for three categories:
"I want this recipe" (fan favorite)
"My mouth is on fire" (spiciest)
"Manna Chili - 'What is this?'" (most unique)

Our God story moves on! Abraham and Sarah lived about the year 2000 BCE. Their son Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob. Jacob had a gaggle of sons...the youngest was Joseph...colored Dream Coat and all that. He eventually brings his people down to Egypt to same them from a horrible famine...and they settle.
At first things are good for the Hebrew people in Egypt...but years pass and the regime changes and now they are seen as a threat...dangerous outsiders... enter the story of Moses...
October 4th is Saint Francis Day, Patron Saint of Creation's Friends. Sooo...we will be doing our Trinity ANIMAL BLESSING ON OCTOBER 8th; at the beginning of Worship or right after....your choice! It's a different environment for most of our pets , other animals and lots of people, so you can opt for the after worship if that is better.
