Ash Wednesday at Trinity Pullman

Join us this Wednesday Evening, February 14th, at 7pm! A quiet service of reflection…and in many ways a chance to “reboot” lives which have been cluttered. In ancient times ashes served many functions: cleansing, clearing field stubble to allow new growth, and a sign of saying you are sorry. They are also a reminder of our mortality: “Remember you are dust…” of the earth…it’s how it all started…

November 19 Trinity Online

Let me sing you a song… a song of my beloved who planted a vineyard

Last week the prophet was using imagry of family.  Jilted spouce…the parent who gave everything for the kids and they thumb their noses

This week Isaiah heads out into the fields

I did everything right. Perfect soil..worked it well. Hedge to protect it…the best vines…

But what happened?   I got sour grapes….in Hebrew the word is STINKBERRIES. Kind of look like grapes but they smell like rot.
