2. Hello All! Here is your Trinity Online Worship for Sunday, April 18th! The story continues as the Followers of Jesus begin to evolve as a movement.  Many things about what Jesus teaches challenges mainline Jusaidsm, but it could have also stayed a sect of that faith as well. Would new ideas and new people, new languages, new ethnic backgrounds...

They are crushed by the events of Jesus' betrayel and execution.  They've heard about the resurrection...but just can't bring themslves to believe it. On the road they are joined by....JESUS! EASTER EVE AND SUNDAY SCHOOL ARKY ARKY!

Easter Eve!

We invite you to light a candle at Sundown. In the Ancient World the new day began when at Sunset. In this very ancient service we go back into the Old Testament and see ways which God has acted as a Savior through time…

Words for Worship:

As we gather as a church family, we remember how Jesus passed from death to life and we share stories as we wait for Easter day. We share our favorite stories of heroes in the Bible and heroes in our own lives. We keep vigil and invite God to be with us as we wait.

Let us pray.

O God, you give us light, fire and hope for the future. Be with us as we wait for Easter. Be with us as we wait for healing and hope for our world.

The Light of Christ!

Thanks be to God!

Our time of waiting is over! It is time to prepare our hearts for Easter. We invite you to read the surprising story about the empty tomb. ..

Story of Mary Magdalena at the Tomb

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.

Mary stood weeping outside the tomb. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb; and she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been lying, one at the head and the other at the feet. They said to her, 'Woman, why are you weeping?' She said to them, 'They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.' When she had said this, she turned round and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, 'Woman, why are you weeping? For whom are you looking?' Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, 'Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.' Jesus said to her, 'Mary!' She turned and said to him in Hebrew, 'Rabbouni!' (which means Teacher). Jesus said to her, 'Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God." 'Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, 'I have seen the Lord'; and she told them that he had said these things to her.

Let us pray.

Life-giving God, in the mystery of Christ's resurrection you send light to conquer darkness, water to give new life, and the bread of life to nourish your people. Help us be witnesses to your Son's resurrection so that we can share your message with the world

Amen.

Share this blessing and a sign of peace:

May God help you live in harmony with one another.

May God bring you healing, joy and peace.

The God of all grace + bless you now and forever.

Amen.

Maundy Thursday at TLC PULLMAN!

Maundy Thursday:  Jesus and his disciples gather in an Upper Room to celebrate Passover.  This is the BIG yearly event in the Jewish calendar when they remember and celebrate Moses leading them out of SLAVERY in Egypt, to the Freedom of the Promised Land.  Bondage and Chains give way to New Life.  Jesus gathers and shifts the focus.   Death will "Passover" but in a bigger, broader way.  Wine and Bread become a way to realize Jesus being with us at ALL TIMES, all places.

7:00PM Parking Lot Worship

Online Worship also available! If you wish to use the Holy Communion At Home Service provided by our Bishop please email me back! That service would attach to the end of what we have provided here.

And here is your Online Worship for the Fifth Sunday in Lent 2021. Jesus is only miles away from Jerusalem. Passing through Jerico he comes across a rather unsavory character, Zacchaeus. BUt then Jesus does something rather unexpected. Invites himself.... WHAT?!

Online Worship for March 7th! LOST!

First off we have our "Joyful Noise" video from Kristina!  Today's Joyful Noise video. We are doing a virtual story time of the lost sheep! WHAT FUN!!!!

https://youtu.be/ZAu8-yZBJ14

As we continue down the road with Jesus some "religious superstars" have had it. He (Jesus) is supposed to be a Holy Man, Righteous...but look at the company he is keeping: Tax Collectors, the Dregs. "This man welcomes Sinners....and EVEN eats with them."  That's their charge. Jesus tells them a few little stories that shows them the heart of God...NOT what they were expecting.

 2. And here is our Online Worship! This is the Parable of the Good Samaritan! A parable is a little story with a BIG point. A story where we can find ourselves playing a part.

A BIG SHOT Teacher asks Jesus a Question: "So...what must I do to have abundant (rich, deep, meaningful, godly) life?"

"What do you think?" Said Jesus. "Well, we are to LOVE God with our all...and our neighbor as ourselves!" " said the man.

"Good answer!"  said Jesus, "BUT!!! Who is my neighbor?" said the guy.

Well, Jesus told a little story...

Trinity Online Feb 7th Jesus Heals!

Hello and Welcome to Trinity Pullman’s Online Worship for February 7, 2021

1. Worship: Jesus’ ministry takes a very dramatic turn as he heals one person and then turns around and raises another from the dead!  But in the midst of the drama there were  equally powerful dynamics.  Barriers were hurdled and people brought into God’s love who previously were considered “outside”.  Enjoy!
https://youtu.be/nwPdAT-_mUo

 2. Joyful Noise!

Here is the video for this week's Joyful Noise, looking at the popular song 'This Little Light of Mine!' I wish you all a wonderful weekend, and I hope you enjoy the video.

https://youtu.be/tGM1c1pBEZ0

 Thank you,

Kristina

 3. And for Sunday School we have another story of Jesus healing.  I absolutely love this story because the man who couldn’t walk had SUCH great friends. When it looked impossible to find a way on to see Jesus they actually lowered the man down from the roof!  That must have been REALLY scary for the man!

Have you done something really special for a friend?  Maybe you helped them out with a chore, or homework…or thought of a really neat birthday present you knew they would love!  It makes Jesus really happy when we have good friends…and ARE good friends.

Trinity Online Sunday School! Being Called!

Hi all!  I know this is "Sunday School"  and it is targetted toward children and families, but a lot of adults are getting a kick out of it too. Try it out for fun!

Today our Narrative Lectionary takes us to the Shores of The Sea of Galillee (Genesseret).  Jesus is preaching and healing and getting pressed by a crowd that is starting to turn a bit rowdy. He sees some fisherfolk with a boat and decides to use that as a pulpit.

The story flows from there and after it all Jesus says to the Fishers..."Hey! Come along with me!"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhIwTU9RbxY

When Jesus says, "Follow Me!" he is literally saying, "Join me on the Road!" "Come along and hang out with me!"  And as they do they slowly begin to discover what Jesus is all about, and what God is up to.

Experience and living with, leads to deeper understanding! Following Jesus isn't like a class at school where you learn and learn and then have a test.  In the church we learn by doing.

What is YOUR favorite thing we do in church?  A lot of the confirmation class recently said, "Potlucks with games and activities!" Things like the drum circle, pancake races, eating different food, meeting new people, and making things.  WOW! Think about, and talk to your family about things you learn in church events. Things like, "All are welcome. It's fun! We all have something to add." And the list goes on.

We are glad you are "On the Road" with us, and with Jesus, as we walk through life....always learning and growing.
