The Rev. Wesley H. Howell - Pastor
Pastor Wes Howell joined the Trinity Team in September of 2011. He has had long connections with Pullman and the WSU community. His dad went to school at WSU in the early 60’s and, as a youngster, pastor went to Kindergarten at the Adams School (now Adams Mall). Pastor Wes graduated from WSU in 1980 with a B.S. in Biology. He attended Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley California and has served parishes in Oregon and Washington. Pastor Wes is excited about ministry; especially connecting Worship and Preaching directly to people’s lives. (shown with daughters Kirsten and Anna)
Dr. Michael Murphy - Choir Director
Michael Murphy is the Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Conducting at the University of Idaho’s School of Music, where he conducts the Vandaleer Concert Choir, University Chorus and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in conducting and choral methods. He also serves as the Artistic and Music Director for the Palouse Choral Society and Palouse Festival Orchestra.
Dr. Murphy, a native of Wilmington, North Carolina, received his degrees in Conducting and Choral Music Education from Florida State University and East Carolina University. As an active member, Dr. Murphy has held several state leadership positions in the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) and the Music Educators National Conference (MENC). Presently he is President-Elect for the Idaho state chapter of the American Choral Director Association.
Megan Brannan - Office Manager
Megan grew up in nearby Colfax. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran in Spokane, WA and affirmed her faith at Peace Lutheran (ELCA) in Colfax. In 2000 she married her high school sweetheart, Gabe, and they are raising two wonderful boys, Simon and Owen. She received her BS in Social Sciences from Washington State University. GO COUGS!
When she is not in the office you will find Megan with her family. They enjoy camping, swimming, cheering for The Cougars and playing the Wii (Megan is especially good at Mario Kart). Megan also enjoys reading, knitting, sewing and messing up the kitchen with her culinary skills.
